The Cornered Ones, also generally known across the galaxy as Those With Edges or The Cubists, are a physical manifestation of evil. And now they are invading your home territory in waves! Destroy them to collect the gold that they have hoarded in their immense greed, then share it with the hard-working craftspeople of your home world to upgrade your ship to better destroy them.

Upgrades come in the form of a Tech Tree with many dynamic nodes--first choose what tech you'd like to install into the node (this is free once the node is unlocked!), and then pay to activate and increase the node's strength.

Your ship comes with a high-tech escape pod, so if your ship is overwhelmed and destroyed, you will still be able to return to the previous wave to reap the ill-gotten gains of Those With Edges until you are strong enough to progress!
